We are looking for a Research Associate to join us in working to improve our understanding of the mechanisms underlying transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and develop protocols to improve external responsiveness in patients in a vegetative state and related disorders. The post is only 10 months, but is an ideal opportunity for a recently graduated MSc or PhD who wants to boost their experience with non-invasive brain stimulation and MRI methods.
This is a full-time post at the University of Birmingham and is associated with our ongoing MRC-funded research project. Your primary role will be to coordinate recruitment, collect data, and assist with data analyses. You will be part of a friendly team of post-doctoral researchers and post-graduate students,. This would be a great position for someone with an MSc, or higher, and experience in non-invasive brain stimulation and / or MRI research who is looking to advance their career in translational science.
